Platinum players announced ahead of the Big Bash Drafts

50 players have been given Platinum status for the Weber WBBL|09 and KFC BBL|13 Overseas Player Drafts happening this Sunday, September 3. 

25 players for each Draft were today named on the Platinum list, making them eligible to be Drafted in the first round within the top salary band.  

 

Alistair Dobson, Cricket Australia’s General Manager of Big Bash Leagues, said:

"With only a few days until the Drafts, anticpation is growing and we are excited to share the Platinum player lists for each Draft.

"Both lists feature world-class T20 talent, promising an exhilarating showcase of cricketing excellence this summer.

“The number and quality of nominations for both Drafts are exceptional, and we eagerly await Sunday night’s Draft events."

Local players from across the Big Bash Leagues gathered in Melbourne today for the launch of the Weber WBBL|09 and KFC BBL|13 Drafts.
